Who Will Harry End up With?

Category: book Nook

In honor of HP6 comming out tomorrow, here's a question to think about. Who do you think Harry will end up with when the series is completed? I think it's either Ginny or Luna, and personally, I hope it's Luna. Yes, Ginny is a really nice girl and Harry has rescued her a few times, but I think he can relate to Luna more, as that scene at the end of Book 5 when they're talking about Luna's mother shows. But what do you think? Let the debate begin.

Oh God, please, anyone but Cho. She's so depressing. God, Cedric died, we know, get over it.

la. I want Harry and Hermione to get together... just because. For once, I don't have a solid argument for my statement... I just want it to be that way, so there!

I can't wait to read the sixth book! I think Harry and Hermione will end up together. This website is not mine, but it gives examples from the books and people's theories why Harry and Hermione make a good couple.

no no too much like a happy ending - harry's going to die in the end

Post 7 by sugarbaby (The voice of reason) on Friday, 15-Jul-2005 12:14:57

and hermione is going to have hagrid's love child!

Post 8 by krisme (Ancient Zoner) on Friday, 15-Jul-2005 14:34:38

No no, it's Ron and Hermione. Come on, they fight all the time, you just know they have feelings for each other.

Post 9 by Inesle1987 (Account disabled) on Friday, 15-Jul-2005 14:56:57

Claire, I don't think Harry will die, seriously. Do you really wis hthat? Hehehe. No, Harry and Hermione ... naw, I think she could be with Ron. Harry ... yeah, either with Loona or with a new girl. Not with Cho, not after the fifth book.

Yiesh! That's one biiiig lovechild. And, doesn't the giant squid ever get any love? Are Crookshanks and Mrs Norris carrying on an epic, fuzzy love affair? What do all those night-wandering portraits really get up to when they go visiting? Does an exiled Sentaur find itself attracted to both people and horses? If unicorns are the ultimate expression of virginity, then how do they get more unicorns? And, when you get right down to it, how does a half-giant happen? logistically? There's juicier stories afoot at Hogwarts than the twoo wuv of Ron and Hermione, methinks.

Post 11 by Inesle1987 (Account disabled) on Sunday, 17-Jul-2005 15:12:52

Hehehe yeah, I agree, but this is just not the subject of what Krisme asked. Soesn't matter, I think your questions are good. Wish I knew the answer.

Ohh please let him kick the bucket then we will see if this thief can dredge up an original story from her obviously barren imagination

Post 13 by Daenerys Targaryen (Enjoying Life) on Monday, 18-Jul-2005 15:43:53

Well, if you don't like the book, then why are you even bothering to post on this subject!

Post 14 by 404 to the 508 (Generic Zoner) on Tuesday, 19-Jul-2005 2:47:09

I think Harry will end up with Ginny don't know why just seems like it. And I hope the sixth book isn't the last.

I'm bored and also unable to tolerate plagerisim

Post 16 by Inesle1987 (Account disabled) on Wednesday, 20-Jul-2005 2:39:53

Oh if you're bored look at something else and let others say what they want, ever heard of freedom of speech? If people like to talk about Harry Potter, let them talk about it. It's everyone#s right.

Post 17 by Sweet_Mercedes (Account disabled) on Wednesday, 20-Jul-2005 3:24:42

Plagarism? What the fuck are you talking about? If you're that damant, explain yourself.

Post 18 by sugarbaby (The voice of reason) on Wednesday, 20-Jul-2005 3:45:02

um .. freedom of speech ... that means that, while people have the right to talk about harry potter, people also have the right to dislike it and say negative things about it...

Post 19 by Inesle1987 (Account disabled) on Wednesday, 20-Jul-2005 5:28:30

But not to insult people or a certain topic. Claire, I totally respect that you say something against Harry Potter and all that. But Goblin said it in a ... rather unkind way. This is what I mean. I do not want to attack Goblin, it is just my opinion.

Post 20 by sugarbaby (The voice of reason) on Wednesday, 20-Jul-2005 5:32:05

ah but that's just it, he didn't insult the topic or anyone who posted to it, he simply voiced his opinions on the author of the book which he is perfectly entitled to do. There is a vast difference between putting the topic down because of its lack of originality for instance, or if you don't like the person who created the topic, to get personal in a topic, and I wholeheartedly agree that this should not happen, however, when you are simply expressing an opposing view in the topic, that is perfectly ok, after all, a debate is a debate, and not everyone will agree.

Post 21 by Inesle1987 (Account disabled) on Wednesday, 20-Jul-2005 5:37:00

There is no plagerism or whatever he talks about.

Post 22 by sugarbaby (The voice of reason) on Wednesday, 20-Jul-2005 5:38:53

well I'm sure that goblin will clarify that ... do you know what plajorism is? I only ask because you say .. "plajorism or whatever he talks about".

Post 23 by Inesle1987 (Account disabled) on Thursday, 21-Jul-2005 3:23:12

I think I know it but i'm not totally sure.

Post 24 by sugarbaby (The voice of reason) on Thursday, 21-Jul-2005 4:17:01

Well in all honesty if you're not sure then you can't know whether there is plajorism or not can ya, *smiles*, but ... plajorism is when someone steals someone else's ideas/concepts. Let's say for instance, I write a story on here one day, then next month you write the same story, maybe not identacle, but similar, but with the same types of characters/theme, and publish it, then you have plajorised my ideas.

Post 25 by ellectra (Veteran Zoner) on Thursday, 21-Jul-2005 19:44:55

draco...or Snape.

Eh, so maybe not, but that's what fandom's for. Frankly, I could care less about cannon shipping. *Shrugs*

I think J.K.'s interview the other day pretty much blew the H/HR ship to pieces though. :)

Post 26 by bozmagic (The rottie's your best friend if you want him/her to be, lol.) on Sunday, 12-Mar-2006 11:40:45

Well, I think Harry'll end up with either some new girl, Katie Bell, get back together with Ginny if he realises you know who's not trying to get at him through her, or he'll try and fix things again with Cho Chang.

Post 27 by chelslicious (like it or not, I'm gonna say what I mean. all the time.) on Sunday, 12-Mar-2006 12:36:07

hmmm, its a tough one, but i'm thinking that he'll try to work things out with cho. i'm not saying this's what i want, cuz i think she's too depressed, but i think that's what's gonna happen. and alex, there's no plagerizing.

Post 28 by Reyami (I've broken five thousand! any more awards going?) on Friday, 20-Apr-2007 8:41:10

no plagiarism, and I couldn't care less about who he ends up with I'm just in suspense, waiting to see if he survives when it's all over.

Post 29 by Reyami (I've broken five thousand! any more awards going?) on Saturday, 21-Apr-2007 15:16:57

Sorry, I know this topic is over a year old.

Post 30 by DancingAfterDark (I just keep on posting!) on Friday, 04-May-2007 21:39:51

Lmao. Love the dredging up of oldoldold topics.
Anyway, Harry and Ginny all the way. Well, obviously, since the sixth book's been out for ages and ages and that's what happened, but even though he ended things with her at the end, I'm idealistic when it comes to others' love affairs and I want them together. I love Ginny.
And honestly, the Harry-Hermione thing is just silly.

Post 35 by frequency (the music man) on Wednesday, 30-May-2007 23:44:00

yes! harry and ginny! That's what I'd hoped for since like the third or fourth book.

Post 36 by chelslicious (like it or not, I'm gonna say what I mean. all the time.) on Thursday, 31-May-2007 14:53:18

my opinion has changed...I think, more than likely, harry will die.

HPGW and HGRW!

I think SMRW might work, after some thought.
